IT Support Deployment Specialist Jobs are now available at Derby College Group. This exciting opportunity is birthed by the college’s desire to more IT experts into their team. The role of an IT Support Deployment Specialist involves providing support to end users and colleagues across all campuses. While the role is mainly based at Roundhouse, travel to all other campuses will occasionally be required.

To excel in IT Support Deployment Specialist Jobs, you must be self-motivated and passionate about IT, keeping up to date with the latest updates and features. Excellent problem-solving skills are required for the automated deployments of updates and software packages. You will be joining a supportive and friendly team based across multiple campuses, so excellent communication skills are also required.

Responsibilities of  an IT Support Deployment Specialist

It is the responsibility of an IT Support Deployment Specialist to:

  • Collaborate with curriculum areas for their software requirements and configuring images/task sequences to suit their needs.
  • Ensure operating systems and software packages are kept up to date to comply with the Cyber Essentials certification, therefore excellent organisational and technical skills are essential in this role. And finally, you’ll manage the entire computer fleet of over 5000 devices using SCCM, Intune, Azure and JAMF.
